Collage - Bangkok
Project 03
University Project at Mahidol University International College
Bangkok: A tapestry of cultural soft power
During my semester abroad at Mahidol University International College in Bangkok, Thailand, I created a collage that captures my personal experiences and impressions from this time. Using Adobe Photoshop extensively, I designed a piece that reflects the various influences of my stay.
The collage includes significant experiences such as the city's annual flooding during the rainy season, a natural phenomenon that greatly shapes life in Bangkok. This event was both fascinating and challenging for me. I also incorporated the Victory Monument, an important landmark close to my home, into the design. Additionally, I depicted the vibrant street markets, which were a daily part of my routine and a source of endless inspiration. These elements came together to create a visual work that expresses my personal connection to Bangkok and Thailand, showcasing the rich tapestry of experiences I had during my time there.
